Sending email
A message can go from any address at your domains, including one you've never used. Sending needs a paid plan. See Billing and plans.
The From address
A brand-new address appears under Inboxes once mail arrives at it, or when you add it there with Add inbox.
To set a sender name, open the gear on an inbox's row in Inboxes and choose Edit details.
The domain list holds every domain whose Sending status is ready under Settings → Domains. Your Jade domain is receive-only. Domains and DNS explains each status.
Attachments and images
Attachments and inline images share the same limits: 7 MB per file, 7 MB combined, up to 10 files.
In the web composer, paste or drop a PNG, JPEG, GIF, or WebP image into the body to place it inline.
Replying
A reply goes out from the address the message came to.
Forwarding
A forward goes out from the address the original arrived at.
Drafts
Deleted drafts skip Trash.
After you send
Send is final.
Mail from a newly verified domain can land in spam at first. See Mail from a new domain lands in spam.
Opening email links in Jade
Email links on websites and in other apps can open in Jade.
- In a browser (Chrome, Edge, or Firefox on a computer): Open Settings → Appearance, choose Open email links in Jade, and allow it when your browser asks.
Sending offline on iPhone
A message sent without a connection waits in Account & Settings → Outbox and goes out when you're back online.
