Connect Claude

1. Open Jade in the Claude directory.
2. Select Connect.
3. Sign in to Jade and select Allow.
4. Ask Claude, "List my Jade inboxes."

To disconnect, open Customize → Connectors in Claude, select Jade, then Disconnect.

If Claude Code doesn't list Jade, add it from the terminal:

claude mcp add --transport http jade https://jade.email/mcp

To disconnect, run claude mcp remove jade.

Connect ChatGPT

1. Open Jade in ChatGPT.
2. Select Connect.
3. Sign in to Jade and select Allow.
4. Ask ChatGPT, "List my Jade inboxes."

Connect another assistant

In your assistant's settings, add an MCP server:

When your browser opens Jade, sign in and select Allow.

On the free plan

The assistant reads your mail, sorts it, runs your rules, and edits your categories and rules. Sending, replying, and forwarding need a subscription.

What to ask it

Reading

• "What's new this morning?"
• "Summarize everything in my work inbox from this week."
• "Find the email from my dentist about my appointment."
• "Show me the PDF attached to that order confirmation."

Tidying up

• "Mark everything in marketing as read."
• "Delete every newsletter older than a month."
• "Unsubscribe me from this newsletter."
• "Rerun my rules on the newsletter inbox."

Sending

• "Reply to my landlord saying I'll wire the deposit tomorrow."
• "Forward this receipt to my accountant."

Rules and categories

• "Pin any GitHub notification mentioning my username."
• "What rules do I have on my newsletter inbox?"
• "Forward every invoice in this inbox to my bookkeeper."

For a forwarding rule, verify the destination first under Settings → Forwarding.
